I'd consider giving Skwerl's teeth a slightly yellow or orange cast, they don't read too well as the plain white. And rodent teeth are SUPER orange IRL. Really cute drawings, I love the expressions.

While that might be realistic, my character doesn't have that trait. Part of anthropomorphizing animals is that they can have a sparkling white (crazy) smile! :D

oh I understand, I just think that having them so super white makes it hard to understand what's going on in the muzzle. Maybe some shadow along the top of the teeth would help.

Oh, I see a shadow, though! The scan might have came in unclear or maybe your monitor is too bright, but there is definitely shading on the teeth! :)
