Scraps Image
When I take on a project, it will get finished. Doesn't matter how long it takes or how many things come up. Once it's started, there's no going back for me. Consider it my writer's code of honor. That said, in addition to another page of material, I made a concept icon for the collaborative story started quite a while ago between
NocturneWolf and I. I only ever make these icons in MS Paint rather than Gimp, due to the fact they're only ever going to be a little square someone glances at before ignoring it because it's a story and not the art pornz they are looking for.
The hand looks kinda crappy, but when fingers are 3-4 pixels wide, what am I supposed to do eh? I actually restarted on it because it was initially smaller. I suppose the final version may have to be scaled smaller to be icon sized, we'll see. I simply had to make it bigger to at least get a minimal amount of detailing wanted. Everything in this picture is symbolic about something, but I think it's fun to leave it a mystery as to just what it's all about right now! I find the names might actually be too small to see well...the final version might even have to not have them on, we'll see... Normally the collab icons I've done have only used the space to display the work title and blatantly show off pics and names of the writers involved. This is the first time I've actually dedicated the space on one to the story itself, but I like what I have going here. It actually reminds me of the crests noble families once used for symbolism and status hundreds of years ago.
No name has been decided yet. It's normal to wait until the end to decide upon a name!
In any case Nocturne, take this as a sign I have not ever forgotten for a moment about this little project. I've been going through our message logs and soaking up plot ideas we had and built upon where I had left off, hopefully soon I can get it back to you updated. (and yes I know me using the word soon is a curse of doom for all parties involved.)
