Millennium Flight
Once Again it Begins

“Damn it, the young man sighed as he stared off at what looked like a sunset but really the sun was being deleted. “We failed again.” The ground started crack.
“You know we don’t have to do it alone. A large doberman rested his head against his master’s shoulder. The trees suddenly dissipated and the dog whined.
“It’s okay boy. We’ll meet at the same place again.” He soothed his dog by petting him softly. “Actually let’s go eat at Digitamamon’s! Sound good?” He hugged his dog and fought back the fear of being deleted. They’ve gone through it countless times but the fear of not coming back…

“TOBEY!!!” The boy popped open an eye and noticed the time.
“i’m up! I’m up!” The boy jumped out of bed and ran around threw on a jeans, a green t-shirt, and grey hoody.
He was thirteen, black hair, brown eyes, short for his age.
“TOBIAS LUNA!”
Tobey quickly packed his books and sketch books. “I’m ready!! I just need....” He ran down the stairs his mom shoved a lunch bag in his face. “A lunch! Thanks mom.” He smiled at her.
“Yeah whatever! Hurry up before you’re late.” She shooed him out the door. “Love you honey have a good day at school!”
Tobey ran straight from his house down the road and hurried across the train tracks. This was typical morning for him. But he didn’t mind. He had very few friends and they were use to him being late nothing new.
As ran through the front doors as everyone was just heading to their first class. He quickly shoved his bag into his locker and grabbed an extra sketch book and book for English class. Without locking his locker he took off running again down the east hallway hoping he’d make it. But as he made into the classroom the bell rang.
He looked to his teacher, “Please Mister Toole, let this slide?”
“You know my rule, if you’re not in your seat when the bell rings you’re late!” His teacher shook his head.
“Kay”, Tobey lowered his head in shame.
“That’s your third tardy this week.”
Tobey took a seat near the front as his classmates laughed. He slid down his seat slightly, “Let me guess detention after school and an essay on why punctuality is key to success.”
“You’d think you’d learn your lesson by now.” Mister Toole handed him a pink slip and Tobey laid his head on the desk.
First period went by and once the bell rang Tobey quickly got up and ran since his second class was on the third floor. As he ran down some steps the lights throughout the school began to flicker. Tobey paid no attention to it he was going to be late again if he didn’t continue.
The lights started to brighten and everything electrical sparked. Tobey made it to the last step but as he took a turn around the corner there was a bright flash. He and other random children vanished.
