From what I've seen, most people just put the bidding on FA. DA has a problem with seeing a lot of comments in a single thread, and Tumblr is just a mess for that. They post one comment that says "Bids here:", and the first bid is a reply to that, the next competing bid is a reply to that, and that just continues. About the only other thing I can think of is most leave a deadline in the description. That help?
