also, his markings glow icy blue, which kind of look white with a blue lining in the ref. but they actually look more solid blue, like the markings set to the side.
-BIO- (shortened as best as possible)
Steelfire is actually a were husky who was born a human child. a long story short, his mother was a human archangel and father was a werehusky. as a baby, his parents were killed by a clan of demon assassins sent to destroy the archangel. somehow, they did not sense the child fast asleep. he stayed in his basket for two days before he was picked up by an elderly woman who owned a foster home. he grew up there with 30 other foster siblings and they lived as one big family. one day the woman brought a new child. a black dragon with black eyes and red pupils. he had an odd marking over his heart. steelfire didnt trust this kid, and the others found him wierd. but the mother told them not to exclude him. over time, he was accepted. at the age of 18, he had a dream of his parents and his mother told him she had passed down her powers to him, laying dormant until the age of 20. even at 18 they were already starting to awaken. he woke up the next day with markings. at 20, nothing much had changed, except for the fact he knew he had to leave his foster home after the going away party. shortly after the festivities one sibling was found dead on the table. after the sound of a blood curdling scream a clan of demon assassins burst in. they all looked just like the black dragon with the same eyes and same odd marking. steelfire managed to make his way upstairs while his brothers and sisters were slaughtered. he found their foster mother and tried to keep the brutal news away from her will trying to help her escape. she knew something was wrong but she let him. she told him she loved him and that she put her trust in him. right after those words, a massive blade came through her back and pierced her chest, inches away from the boy. she died in his arms. and when he looked up, it was their brother. the one that his foster mother told him to accept. he was a spy all along. with all the emotion and energy swirling in him he knew as a mere human boy, he could do nothing. but he ran forward anyway. these demons needed to pay and he was going to make sure they did. in that moment, he transformed into what he is today. he managed to take down every single one except for his brother who fled the scene. shortly after he was summoned in heaven and was taught what he is and how to use his powers.
Steelfire is a half angel with the duty of the 7th and final archangel, bestowed upon him by his mother. because steelfire was only half angel, he could stay on earth and live as a semi-immortal being. in the rare even he does die, he shatters into shards of light and ascends into heaven, only to make sure hes still fit to be an archangel, then sent back down to earth. his duty is to protect the realm of the living from dying before it is their time. he has the ability to see souls in four categories. Normal, Demon, Murderer, or Anomaly. based off case-by-case situation, this determines his actions.
as serious as his job is, he is a highly optimistic guy. some see it as carefree, naive, and a bit irritating. and not too many understand how he can be so optimist in the face of so much heartache in his life. when it comes to his job, he can be a bit more serious, especially when dealing with demons. but he does love a challenge, so even fighting makes him smile. he may appear to be a big fighting machine, but really he is a gentle giant and can be a big goof when hes with friends.

Amazing, incredible story! This must have so much life in it, and his design is gorgeous! And personality is golden! I admire and respect this guy and I don't even know him! What an awesome ref too, terrific details! Great job finding an artist to properly capture his essence, and that expression too, such secrets and such possibility! I'm so glad I found your page! I can't wait to go through more of your awesome pictures and learn more!
Nice story! I prefer a more modern type of stories, but this is equally great!
I am actually wondering what would happen with Atlas meeting him. They would most likely meet at day, so I imagine the husky not trusting him much, even though Atlas would act nice, despite him seeming, and smelling demonic nature all over. Now what else would happen, idk.
Now if it was during midnight to 1 AM, then I imagine some nasty things happening. That's mostly the hour Incubus takes over, since it's the Witching hour, when all magical beasts, witches and wizards get stronger.
Thinking a bit more into it, an angel meeting a half-demon would be quite nasty even without the demon being evil. WHO KNOWS WHAT THE ANGEL WILL THINK!
