It's mostly watercolor with some ink (for the gold and silver parts) and colored pencil.

OMG! I didn't realize that you had finished this! I'm so glad I wandered over to Laura's page and saw this in her favs! Cause you don't post here much so I wouldn't have thought to wander to your page. I have way too many submissions to go through them so I just go from page to page checking stuff when I pop into this site.

I LOVE THIS I remember seeing the digital version and you fucking nailed the traditional version perfectly in my opinion! I love the shades of grays you used, and the way you blended all the colors together. Plus all the detail! I wouldn't even think you could put such detail into paint but then again I can't paint so that's probably why ;p I do love all the little iridescent pieces! I do hate how scanners maul that, I'm glad I saw some more of that on your tumblr! My scanner does that all the time with my pretty metallic gel pens and such I hate it!
I love her pose so much, her whole demeanor, her outfit... the way you did the jacket folds is awesome, the way it contours to her body. And just using the similar color shades through the whole piece to tie it to gather is so awesome. SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS

I posted it on Facebook, but I don't think Facebook actually shows people my art most of the time which is annoying. ANYWAY thank you so much! Jolyn comments are always the best comments. I'm really happy with how the colors came out, especially since almost all of it is just different mixes of the same 2 or 3 colors, haha. It's the first really detailed thing I've tried to paint in awhile, so I'm glad my painting skills haven't gotten worse since then! I'm going to try and push myself to do a lot more watercolor stuff again from now on, too.
