This, my furry friends, is Flip, the Florida Aquarium's Green Sea Turtle. Normally, she stays a fair distance away from where I photograph, but today, she decided she wanted her close-up. I was more than happy to oblige.

Now, those who know me as the "Multifur" will know that I have a green sea turtle character, also named Flip. Well...here's the inspiration! She really is a sweetheart...though she has a little trouble steering. (This isn't her fault. She was apparently bitten by a shark when she was younger, and her hindfins are paralyzed.)

So here you have some sea-turtle goodness. Pretty, isn't she?
