Whoops I forgot to actually upload this here too, didn't I? Well, here it is, 2 or 3 months late.


I made a new Character for Dimensional Shadows! I had the Idea for them while listening to music and I really really like him! His name is, like the title says, Ignaz Ardun and he's a Fire-Elemental Ree-Mai. Also he's one of Frigus Imber's two first cousins, together with Glacies Imber.

I experimented a little with bigger canvases and thicker lines in this; I am trying to mix up my art with it a bit more.

Ignaz Ardun is a member of the Ree-Maian Aonvhe-Tribe, located in the Orasara Desert near an Oasis, and a cousin of Frigus Imber. His mother is Frigus' Aunt; since their maternal grandfather was an Uqakian Ree-Mai and their Grandmother was an Elrian Ree-Mai, both Sisters became different types of Ree-Mai. Currently, he's a warrior and hunter for the tribe and really likes his "job", even though he's by far not the best at what he does. Ever since childhood, he had a pretty close relationship to his cousin Frigus and even to Glacies.

His great-grandfather had Shaman blood and, after skipping a few generations, Ena-Powers awoke in him too; he's pretty skilled with Fire- and Light-type Ena techniques and really loves using them, much to the dismay of those around him. However, he's not interrested in beeing a shaman himself. He's also very competetive, always up for a friendly fight, race around the block or some arm wrestling.

Ignaz is very proud of his tribe and his ancestry; wich he shows with his numerous body paintings. Every day, he colors his fur the exact same way; apparently because one of his ancestors did the same. His body paint has a slightly duller color to his usual Ree-Mai birthmark and tatoo underneath the eye. Despite this extreme pride, he's actually very interested in other cultures outside of the usual Ree-Maian territories. He wishes to one day be able to travel freely outside of his tribe or Illiad, and to visit other worlds and cultures. At the moment, he rarely ever gets the chance to leave due to all his work, but whenever he's able to take a break, he visits Illiad and tries out the local Illiadian Transdimensional Travel Stations, visiting other worlds.

He rarely ever wears anything besides his tribal clothes (that are very revealing to say the least but nowhere near as bad as other tribes), even when in Illiad or in other worlds. Needless to say, he usually gets quite some looks.



Other things:

- He loves to eat. A lot. And a lot of his favourite foods are meat-based, like rabbit stew. His most favourite food would be a traditional Ree-Maian recipe for Spicy Ribs.

- He takes his trusty spear practically everywhere. However, it's only a basic wooden spear with a bone tip and nothing special. He still is quite attached to it.

- Apparently he's crushing a little over Frigus' other cousin, Glacies. (Whom he isn't related to thankfully)

- He's very open and outgoing, to the point where it sometimes gets annoying.

- He's, as most people would've guessed by now, very impatient and doesn't like it when things go his way. However, as he isn't without reason, he sometimes just tries to suck it up.

- It seems to be that, like Glacies and Frigus, he's protected by another Archangel; the Archangel of Might.
