An old design but I still love my bby. ; v ;
Name: Vaudeville
Gender: Male
Breed: Drum
Height: 19 hands
Personality:
Quiet - Placid - Dishevelled - Contemplative - Passive - Obstinate - Gentle - Blunt
Quiet :-: When spending time with this gentle giant it is quickly noticeable that he doesn't speak very often. There is no dark, alluring mystery behind this, he just isn’t very inclined to verbalize his inner thoughts without being prompted by someone else.
Placid :-: From his birth, Vaudeville has been reserved, living inside his own head as much as he had the real world. While some horses are aloof in their silence, he is companionable, as relaxed in the company of others as he is by himself. He has never been excited into action of his own accord, doing so only after being prompted by outside forces, whether those forces were necessity or another individual. Vaudeville has a limited range of emotion that runs fairly shallowly. He doesn't feel deeply about almost anything, finding it difficult to understand the outbursts of those around him.
Dishevelled :-: While he doesn’t mean to look like something the cougar dragged in, he just doesn’t stop to think about grooming very often. He recognizes the need to keep oneself clean, it often just slips his mind and he needs to be reminded that having a lump of burrs caught in his mane isn't particularly attractive. He is slightly more mindful of it when it comes to tending to the healing burns on his rump
Contemplative :-: He spends long hours by himself just thinking. Sometimes he can be seen examining particular plants or rock formations, and at others he can be found watching the same sunbeam for hours on end. It's unclear at times whether he is in deep thought or has merely spaced out.
Passive :-: This horse is not a lover or a fighter. There is exceedingly little anyone can say or do to rouse him into being put out, let alone truly angry and his actions reflect that. When it comes to defending someone his tactic is to come between the person he is worried for and the attacker and act as a shield. He is not a good fighter because of this and would do very poorly in a bout of any kind.
Obstinate :-: When he’s made up his mind on something, it’s made up. Nothing that can be said or done will change his mind short of being threatened with the harm of someone he cares for.
Gentle :-: Despite, or possibly due to, his size, he is very gentle with everything around him, tending to move and act slowly and carefully.
Blunt :-: He isn’t good as sugar coating his words, or even being delicate for that matter. It isn’t uncommon for him to trod on feelings without being aware he’s done so. He rarely picks up on his faux pas unless the other party has a strong reaction to what he’s said.
Extras:
- Vaudeville isn’t very good at expressing himself physically when he feels close to someone. Often his signs of affection are his muzzle pressed against a neck for a few moments before he silently goes back to his usual activities.
- He likes to believe he can blend into a crowd despite his size.
