Cira Muzzle - Maya Progression - Wireframe

docwolf 's request. Wireframe view of the muzzle.
As an aside, polygon modeling's about as far as I've gotten through the 'getting started' tutorials I've come across. Haven't touched a nurb yet, while sub-d's are much later in, as the tutorial's table of contents looks to put it, the scheme of things. Hell, I'm still trying to find out where everything is. >__<
Still, the frontal view's the one that's iritating me. Side on's pretty close.

the front view is usually iffy looking until you work everything out and tune up the model. don't worry about it. Just take it a step at a time.
If you're using refs it starts out a lot clearer from the beginning though.
Heh, personally I believe maya's a nightmare to start out with if you're just learning.
It's a nice shape out so far, I do hope you continue to mess with it =p and good luck learning how to make proper edge loops as you go. If you ever want some help or links to some out of the way tutorials or topology examples, just buzz me. ^^
and just in case you haven't seen this tutorial http://www.subdivisionmodeling.com/.....ead.php?t=2347
not something to follow bit by bit, but he explains some good practices as he works, it really helped me out when I was trying to figure this stuff out.
