Finished specie study of the Hollow Listo. As said before the name Hollow Listo means 'hollow face' given that is head structure has a lot of gaps and the such. This takes away the eyes but that doesn't mean the beast is blind. They have the ability to see clearly using the other senses, structures like the 'thunder horns' allow them the sense another beast or multiple beasts from several miles away. Hollow Listos have long narrow legs with long narrow wrists, this beast is made for running and its gait is much like that of a cat. Long dew claws on the fore paws allow it to lash out at prey items and hold on to things like the trunks of trees and branches. There are rocky crest structures found on the forearms, back legs, and base of tail. These structures are usually colorful and appear larger on males than on females. There are two sets of antlers on the face, the bottom set are more mobile and help with jabbing rivals pr enemies. The top set twist forward and are used to ram, most affective when the beast charges. Hollow Listos are 'kink backed' meaning theres an intense bend in the lower back just before the hip. This doesn't really do anything besides allowing the spine to be more flexible. Hollow Listos are narrow bodied but the rib cage if broader depth wise I suppose. The hip bone allows the beast to stand up on its hind legs and walk vertically upward, this stance is usually used to intimidate rival males in a pack or make themselves look bigger to other large beasts. The holes on the sides of the beasts are called 'thunder horns', they are an odd structure that allows easy air flow to the lungs and aid in stamina and communication. Hollow Listos create a whole range of sounds but mostly use an eerie shriek and a low grumbling bass like horn sound, the horn sound is obviously made by the 'thunder horns' on the sides. Though they look to have no other teeth than whats seen on the head, these creatures actually have a couple sets of teeth that retract into the skull when not being used. Hollow Listos stand at a height of 105-115ft and are 135-140ft long. The creatures themselves can weigh over 7tons. pls do not take and use, my art is not free use.
