Creature study of the Wind Whistler species. The Wind Whistler comes from a moon in my universe called Phobeta. It orbits the massive giant Brinithis, home of the eyeless Bezllichen. Phobeta is inhabited by a small subspecies of Bezllichen (eyeless humanoid species) called the Bezlliant. (I am yet to draw a Bezlliant) Wind Whistlers are a unique species that have fan like structures on their neck, sides, and tail. The holes in these flexible structures create a flute like sound when the wind travels through them. These sounds are their main form of communication and can vary depending on the size of the structure. When at rest these structures flatten against the body and aid as extra protection for the beast. They have a sturdier build and don't do much running but instead lures their prey in with a song made by the structures on their tail. The side 'wings' only flare up when the Wind Whistler is agitated or challenging another individual. The mane is always up unless the beast sleeps and rank of Wind Whistlers depend on the position the mane is held. The structures on the fore arms also create the flute sound but isn't heard as often as the tail, side wings, and mane. Under belly is armored along with their head. Wind Whistlers are actually a mammal like reptile and can split their jaw like a snake's, they also sport a forked tongue. Wind Whistlers stand at a height of 40-50ft tall and can be 55-60ft long. An adult male can weigh more than 3 tons. Wind Whistler bites are extremely fatal due to the venom created in the two top fangs visible on the face. They don't like to bite due to their extremely gentle nature. On Phobeta the Wind Whistler is known to be a symbol of peace, wisdom and good luck because most anyone who comes across one will have something good happen to them. Its also believed that when a Wind Whistler uses all the musical structures it levitates, this is currently a myth. Wind Whistlers are actually extremely intelligent and have the capability to learn how to write, read and speak. Its also believed that they can reason. Wind Whistlers can be found in almost everything the Bezlliant makes, mostly in art, attire and stories. Species belongs to me, pls do not take and use. My art is not free use.
