Recently I read that cats can't see what's directly in front of them because their eyes are too big to focus on things close to them. That'd explain some things.
Also I'm really considering doing an Indiegogo campaign for a DomestiCats book. I found a good printer within EU for a good price so I'm thinking of doing a full color, 128 pages book, of course with some extra content :)

Yeah, I've heard of this, too. I was reading an article about how cats are far-sighted --
is that the right term? -- and when they're walking along, they go very slowly, because
they are actually memorizing what's there before they get there. Or so I recently read.
But, yeah.
It would explain how, when you drop food in front of them, you sometimes have to
poke it before they know it's there.
