Bolt already kinda looks chibi as it is with his big old head. It would probably have been easier to make an anthro of him if they went with the one that looks fully grown from the concept art but I think you did a great job making him look like the final design version. So cute! :)
Trust me, I know what you mean. And it isn't just the Academy awards, its movie reviewers and the Pixar fanboys as well.
I saw Wall-E, and while I did like it, I don't think it was all that great (as everyone declared it). I think it'll come down to Bolt, Kung Fu panda, and Wall-E. I am rooting for either Bolt or Kung Fu Panda, I don't want to see Wall-E win.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the fighing panda or the awesomest dog gets it XD.

Yeah, it's everyone. It's been cool to hate Disney recently because they had turned out so many bad movies, and Pixar's movies are only ever great. I have my reservations about Wall-E, but it really did create a cute little robot character. Kung Fu Panda was also really great, but won't win an Academy Award. In any case, i would be surprised if it did!
