Here's another classic work of mine - direct from my gallery in "The Round House"...
I love all sorts of wordplay, including anagrams (THEY SEE = THE EYES), reversals (STRESSED to DESSERTS), and palindromes ("MADAM, I'M ADAM."). So, during the early years of contributing to "Rowrbrazzle", I made a puzzle in which readers were only given the vowels to an animal-related sentence, and were asked to fill in the blanks with consonants, so that said sentence came in the form of a palindrome (such as SENILE FELINES). An illustration from a member of 'Brazzle accompanied each palindromic quote or phrase.
My contribution to this puzzle was a 'before' and 'after' shot of the bobcat (in his earlier facial form), being quite lethargic while being overweight (in the pic on the left) and then being very peppy after losing all that weight (in the pic on the right). Knowing most of you 'fat furry' fanatics, you'd probably prefer seeing the corpulent cat on the left!

Thanks for the compliment, Michael. I'm sorry that this image isn't more focused, otherwise you can spot one of the 'in-jokes' that got the bobcat to slim down in no time at all. No, I'm not referring to the can of Slim-Fast on the mantle. I'm referring to the aerobics videotape on the floor next to the fireplace. It reads "Erma Felna Workout" (an obvious parody of the tapes put out by Jane Fonda); 'Erma Felna' is the female feline lead in Steve Gallacci's comic book "Albedo: Anthropomorphics" (one of the earliest titles that got me reinterested in 'funny animals'). And Gallacci used to be a semi-regular contributor to "Rowrbrazzle" (and one of the many anthroartists who'd inspired me to join that APAzine)...
How ironic... A week or two ago on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th-Grader?", the contestant also didn't know what a palindrome was. He was given a choice of three answers: (A) JUMBO SHRIMP, (B) VROOM, and © RACE CAR... and he chose 'B'!
If you really want a refresher course on palindromes, may I suggest listening to 'Weird Al' Yankovic's recording of "Bob" (from his Grammy Award-winning CD "Poodle Hat") - which has such outrageous lyrics as "...Lisa Bonet ate no basil...", "Oozy rat in a sanitary zoo", and "Go hang a salami; I'm a lasagna hog!"

Nice work! This wuff loves reading, but has NO talent at all with words, at least as puzzles and objects. Vargr would never have been able to come up with such a palindrome.
And while wuff does enjoy the energy in that second part, those popped open pants and that crescent of belly fur showing in the first picture really have this wuff hooked. *grins* Very nice job all 'round!
