Finally finished! Fairly happy with the end result
It's a tattoo design commission for a friend. 60cm x 40cm. Pretty large for a pencil drawing!
I had to do a lot of work in very short time. In the end I stopped sleeping for 8 days just to finish it. I wanted to make it into an amazing portfolio piece and push it to new levels. Time constraints and a few sleep-deprived errors made that impossible. I had a cover sheet under my hand, but the rest of my arm was smearing the drawing and removed most of the shading. I noticed last minute and had to re-draw half of it. It has only two layers of pencil work instead of the 6 layers that I wanted to make (which wouldve drastically changed the whole picture and added a lot of detail)
The drawing still came out nicely and the tattooist will have a lot to work with! Can't wait to see it finished! My tattoo designs always come to life more on skin!
On to the next commissions!
