Grief Coloring WIP

Shows how slow I can be coloring, when I posted a previous image weeks ago. There is still more work to be done. This may be the only version I'll post until sometime next year. Full version will be available at FC, of course. Sorry about that; this crocodile could use some extra monies for stuff.

hey this is pretty good... I dont see why something like this would take so long to color, unless the outlines have "leaks" in the ase of filling.... what technique do you use to fill in the color anyways?

Long time for coloring is more from not making the time for sitting down and working on images than anything else. And I just do plain flood fills for the base colors, then airbrushing any extra colors, shadows, highlights, and everything else.

so you do it the ez way too... well I got the same problem then... I just finished the lines but I dont feel like shading, even though thats actually the fastest part

How long can this normally take you? You put so much detail into your coloring it must take hours!

This scene happens a day or two after the total destruction of his home planet. He lost not only his world, but also his mate and most of his species. He's alone in a room of a spaceship, trying to sleep but obviously being unable to do so.

Final version won't be here. After a "nice" comment by someone not wanting to buy prints of pics that were already here on FA, I'm gonna keep a few pics unavailable for a while.
