I don't know why I had the urge to draw Benny fighting a giant three-headed bird. I kind of wanted to draw this like an old-school platformer, so I incorporated a few SNES/Genesis cliches.
For starters, bosses will often have a series of orbs for legs, necks, noses, or other things as it would be easier to animate fluidly than redrawing them. It also allows the boss to move it's body more freely and accurately. In addition, a lot of cartoonistic games have bosses that smile when they get hit as if they're being pleasured. What the heck! You're not supposed to be enjoying this! XD Third, Benny is shown in a game where damage is dealt by stomping on top of the enemy. Also, added a few ancient forms of intimidation, such as a clock with an evil message "Death To Benny," a self advertising poster and a book titled "How to Peck Miraj."
Benny is fighting a giant boss in a library called "The Clever Three-Headed Genius," which ironically has no true relations to the Three-Bodied Genius. This idea for a boss popped in my head WITHOUT thinking of Taloeme E. Medimene. It's a terrible creature who will bray it's necks and stomp it's talons to Benny's demise. It has three heads and a body, each with its own life bar. Benny cannot attack the body normally unless he has a certain power-up that shoots projectiles (Like his Mega Benny suit). Two ways to defeat this boss: either deplete the life of his body or all three of his heads. His body has much more life than the heads, but if you defeat it before defeating all three of the heads, the creature loses. If you defeat all three heads first, then the creature loses. Biff thought it would be clever to try and attack Benny with his beak, but he was wrong.
Also, I like big screen-filler bosses. I don't like bosses that are only as big or slightly bigger than the main character.
