"Sigh" Indeed, you have a point.
However, she is "mad" as in crazy, so who knows what she might have done to poor Arthur had he not been rescued.
That eccentric. energetic personality isn't just a weird evil, it's also a warning sign: "Watch out! I'm a crazy old hag and you don't know what I might do to you!"
Moral of that part of the story? Don't go anywhere with strangers or crazy people. They might just harm you.

Kikidoodle, my sister (alternate-lore Maleficent) adores these creative interpretations of her Draconic form.
She and I both think they are beautiful, awe-inspiring, and even a few more descriptive words that I think are too kind to be coming from one who used to be so evil.
If she ever meets you, she says she wants to give you something nice. (Not telling you exactly what, 'cause it would ruin the surprise and 'cause it you would never believe it was her.)
And believe me, she means nice as in GOOD, not evil.
So keep it up!
