My final "sketch" from  justart27 , maybe my favorite.
I love the play of light and shadow on Bast, sunlight occassionally breaking thru the jungle canopy in places.
I like the different angle used in this too, almost a direct top down view, just enough angle to see some features and a bit of the face.

Bast quietly prowls through the dense jungle, every footstep silent as a shadow.
He is the protector of this place, not one animal is disturbed by his presence here, they know his intentions.
His silent passage and careful vigilance maintain the balance and keep this place safe from outside threats.
The Great Jungle, the surrounding grasslands, and even the Arid Lands filled with sand and rock, beyond the horizon, are his home, his protectorate, his Kingdom. Few ever see this silent monarch, especially outsiders, but he is always there, an unseen presence, watching, and if necessary stalking and hunting any who bring darkness or destruction to this place.
