New character time! Meet Miranda, the sphinx. She can’t help but constantly tell riddles; unfortunately for those around her, if anyone answers one of those riddles wrong, she is compelled to eat them. Ignoring a riddle from her is safe, though, so most of her friends know to just not answer if she asks one, but occasionally someone slips up.
Text, in case it’s too hard to read my horrible handwriting:
Frame 1:
Miranda: “Alright, I’ve got the popcorn ready!”
Hailey: “Great! I can’t wait to just relax tonight.”
Miranda: “Hey, you know why this bowl of popcorn is like an army?”
Hailey: “No, why?”
Frame 2:
Hailey: “Oops.”
Frame 3:
Miranda: “Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to come hang out and watch a movie tonight.”
Friend on phone: “I thought you were having that “girl’s night in” with Hailey tonight.”
Miranda: “Yeah, she had to cancel.”
Friend on phone: “… She accidentally tried to answer one of your riddles, didn’t she?”
Miranda: “… Maybe.”
(Because it has a lot of kernels.)

Oh, she'd definitely eat you.
As a serious answer, I think as long as someone gives the right answer, she won't feel compelled to eat them. Depending on the circumstances, though, if she feels someone is "cheating" and they're being particularly annoying about it, she might eat them anyway.
