I've also got a Honduran curly hair that I got at the same time as these and started out about the same size, it's still quite tiny at around half an inch but these guys are now well over 2"... they're just monsters! I can't explain it any other way! XD

Now that I think of it, I believe I've seen them for sale at walmart in a little box. I remember thinking that they just must be one of those sponges that gets big when you add water or something like that. :o

I'd be all upset when they died though.
Stupid question, what do YOU do when they die? o.0; I've heard of people keeping them (which makes me curious as to why) and some people go as far as to bury them so that's where my question originates :3

These can be found at Hobby Lobby, or you can buy them online for REALLY cheap. :) There are some species of triops which grow to several inches in length, I want those so bad! These only get to be about 2" at most. All they need is spring water, sunlight and triops food.
