It was fun, but towards the end it was beginning to feel like a marathon race. It was one hella long parade route, and the pace was rather fast, too. I started wondering if I was even going to make it.

That's good to hear. Oo I can believe that. My first parade in the SEHS marching band was murder. I could barely play the fight song by the last yard of it.

It was fun, but as Crystal said above, we were tired by the time we got to the parade start because of the double step we had to do to keep up with everyone.

Yeah, I had a muscle cramp at the pizza place (For as active as I am when suiting stretching is something I always forget to do properly, I should know better because I did martial arts and was in marching band...) but I'm otherwise ok. No pain but they are very stiff, if I had a blue collar job I might've had to call in sick!
