Possible. Not all violent men are rapists after all. However, just from viewing how the characters come across so far. She's obviously fixated on her past lover. No man can be better, no one can match him etc...and she's very vocal about those views. A man get's insulted too much, even after he (from his perspective) tries to be understanding bc of his own past. Then, to be insulted like that on top of everything else...well..could make him want to "make her forget him," by proving that he's "the bigger man." Or, something to that effect.
yusyus, this is very true. and you have a very accurate perception of how i think alot of people like he's portrayed would think. or, he could remeber what ways he has been abused, and if he acts, it could be more violent then sexual or power fantasy . insecure, somewhat smaller effeminate guys who arent physical might think that maybe this ex was more physical so he might show her his "stuff" by turning violent. when a person who has been put through hell in the past runs across a bit of an abrasive woman, there are many ways they may choose(or not choose, depending on their mental state0 to react ouo
Exactly. For this, it comes down to how you see his mental state at this point in the story. Will he crumple under the gaze of yet another "power woman." Or, will he seek to finally assert himself as she herself just told him to do. If it's the latter, will he simply be gruff and tell her off? Will he get a little physical while telling her off and telling her about herself? Or, will he go the extreme and decide that he needs to show her that he's a man?
of course ouo but these pages are months old, i have decided much of how i wanted this to go. this is the final choice in a list of other ideas that might be better or worse ouo. i know this guy's mindset and how hes going to react, but its always fun to talk about it ouo
truth is, next 3 pages show, this guy was going to therapy for a reason and how he handles this scenario shows where he is mentally
originally, she ended up sleeping with him to try and find a spark of emotion in herself and it failed again. given stephs backstory it made alot of sense, especially the effects of her childhood tend to have on people. but i decided agaisnt it, because there are two extremes stephanie's past has, and how she grew up, but with her obsession it made more sense to me to have her feel liek she is indebted and owned by her ex, and cannot give herself to anyone if its not him . so i went this route ouo it made more sense to her character

i agree, this kind of thing is so fun, and i had fun going over ideas and thoughts and what could have been ouo!
i dearly hope what i produce will be quite up to par for the work put into it D: , i feel this first chapter was rather difficult to balance and depict, the second i consider more of the real start ouo
