be prepared for an angsty teenaged girl rant in 3...2...1...

i know as a female i shouldn't be defined by whether or not there is a male in my life aka whether or not i have a boyfriend. And before it didn't really bother me but lately with the new year coming in i'm feeling more and more like i want a bf. you know someone to tell me i'm special and i'm pretty and that they love me other than my mom. you know sometimes i feel like i'm destined to be all alone, i see girls, bitchy girls, girls that are three times my weight, and girls who can't keep their legs closed with boyfriends and i wonder, what's wrong with me? i like to think i'm pretty nice, at least that's what my friends tell me and i've been told that i'm outgoing and funny too. so why is it that come the holidays i always feel left out while my friends and even my family welcome the new year w/ their special person?

i really need a friend now.
