Wherein Joat cheats on a personality test.
This is a text-and-screenshot LP of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. Because, honestly, there is a lot to talk about. And make fun of (not that this is a bad game, mind). In any case, this is just a small chunk, including only the first in-game day. As the file name indicates, this was originally intended as a preview, back when I was considering giving the final thing all at once when I was finished with the entire thing. However, I decided instead to upload each LP bit-by-bit and I decided to make this the official first part.
Terms and Comments
a/s/l: Short for age/sex/location. I don't know if anyone actually still says this, but it used to be a very common thing to ask strangers on the internet. The only way people could have been less subtle about their intentions was if they added an /rs (relationship status) to the end of it.
Tulpamancer: Someone who has one or more tulpae.
Tulpa: Long story short, think of a cross between an imaginary friend and a split personality, without the negatives traditionally associated with a split personality. Though, that is oversimplifying it greatly. For a longer description of what a tulpa is, I recommend https://www.tulpa.info/ .
Red is my beloved.
Cherithe was not my character. It was Fluffy's (one of my tulpae) character. Why did I not catch this when I made this part of the LP?

Charmander is actually firmly in the "above average" tier for me, in terms of how I feel about it. It was an early favorite, but that flame died down somewhat. *ba-dum-tish!* Still, Charmander is actually the most ideal pick among the default options for me. However, I felt like being a non-standard option instead and, upon reflection, I feel it was a good choice, even with the technical difficulties, since it adds more to talk about. Plus, Poochyena is adorable.
