Ahhh, most excellent to see you color! __and it turned out damn good too. Much better than what I did with color pencils back in the day. I like the side profile too. It shows the handsome side of the draggy.

I'm super pleased to see that you're trying new things. I'll tell you, once you start coloring there's no going back. ;) It's time to break out that wacom tablet and let the frustration begin (trying to learn how to use the painter program!) ;)

Hey thanks. Using that Strathmore Bristol smooth 100lb paper made all the difference in the world with those color pencils. I'm glad that you suggested that I try out a better quality paper, it really can make all the difference. Now if I can just figure out how to blend the colors better.

Figure that I'll practice with the color pencils for a while and get use to coloring before I try my hand at coloring on my Wacom. Uggh, figuring out how to use Photoshop 7 or painter will be a massive headache when it comes to coloring.

You have a Happy New Year as well, and yes lets hope that 09 is full of awesome art from us.

Now that I actually have a little physical money, I should go raid the art store for some of those oh-so-wonderful Prisma-Color markers. :\

I've never tried the markers that Prism-color makes, though I want to try them out some day, but the pencils work wonderfully, especially if you can get a smooth and heavy weight paper to use them on.
