Name: Layla Cadotte
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Height: 6' 3"
Species: Goo girl, formerly mouse
Layla was a rather quiet girl. She kept to herself and found it hard to make friends. One day, she met a peculiar woman who was looking for a specific set of books. Layla had heard about those books before and found the courage to ask the woman about why she was looking for them. She discovered the woman was a scholar and a scientist, and she was researching something that would revolutionize civilian life as they knew it. Layla was hooked, and practically begged the woman to take her on as an assistant. The woman, who introduced herself as Octavia, was skeptical at first, but decided to give the young mouse a chance to prove her worth. Layla made out to be the best lab assistant she could ever be. Always ready to help, and she took a vested interest in the Doctor's studies.
One day, however, there was an accident during a test. An explosion which left poor Layla in critical condition with very little chance of survival. The Doctor saw this as an opportunity for another test, and transferred Layla's mind and soul into a crystalline core that could control a goo-like substance. The test has been a success, and this has been Layla's form ever since.
The goo that makes up Layla's new body can take on any form, though she prefers to keep it as a mouse. The goo can also be instantly crystallized, making for useful weapons such as large claws or spears. The core that makes up the "true" Layla exhibits a gravitational force on the goo within a certain radius, allowing her to control it even when some bits may become detached. This makes her a formidable opponent, as the only way to actually attack her is to aim for her core.
Layla is reserved, and still a little timid, but her new body gives her incredible capabilities, and that has done nothing but wonders to her confidence. Layla is fiercely devoted to assisting and protecting Dr. Octavia, and will do almost anything that the Doctor requests of her without so much as a second thought. Such a devoted Dog of War should never be underestimated.
