Story:
Cael and his brother Liam were both normal lion cubs before Professor Jacqueline Manon scooped them up and subjected them to experiments in the hopes of creating another sentient life-form on Earth. Over the course of a year she nurtured them, feeding them chemical laced food to grow them and reshape their bodies, teaching them to read and write. She became a sort of mother to them, and they followed her staring in awe at the experiments she ran. After they had grown, she announced the two to the public. Liam was quickly recruited by the military due to his natural strength and agility. Cael, being smaller and not trusting of most strangers, stayed with his mother and studied any books he could get his hand on, this included a few odd tomes.The tattoos on his arm are actually arcane markings burned into his fur that signify his bond with an otherworldly creature he summoned while fooling with an old book he thought was superstitious dribble.

This guy and his brother I want to use in a superhero universe I am creating, that has been put on the back burner til that Kobold thing is done. :P
