Lilac the Kangaroo loves modern technology, it makes it so much easier to be a plant hybrid. Even though she has to spend a couple months of summer rooted in place to replenish her body, she can stay in touch with friends and family using her tablet and cell network connection. She even continues to help out as a nurse at the hospital, reviewing reports and interacting with patients over video chat.

She doesn't need much for supplies as a tree, a small bag hangs from one of her branches holding everything she needs. She doesn't need to eat, technically she can't eat in her current form, her roots and leaves provide her with everything.

She spends much of her time asleep, comfortably leaned back against her trunk as her leaves soak up the suns rays. It conserves energy and helps pass the time. There is only so much to do by yourself as a tree in the woods, though friends and family do stop by once a week or so to give her some company and to bring her anything she requests. She doesn't want to be waited on, but it is nice to have some face to face contact every once and awhile.

It's nice to take some time off from the hustle and bustle of modern life to spend some time with nature, Lilac enjoys every moment of it. Having legs and being able to move around is nice too. She is glad that she is able to do both and glad how modern technology allows her to still be a part of society, even during tree time.
