I imagine that, when you’re a predator who kind of looks like a prey, life is full of awkward moments like this.

I used to really like coloring with the watercolor brushes in various programs. I’ve become a lot more confident in my linework lately, so I thought I’d give some raster coloring a go. Not that I’m giving up on the vectors or anything, but it’s much easier to create something that looks three dimensional this way. The picture has some flaws (which would be easy to fix if this were in vectors, but there you go) but overall I’m pleased with the results.

Plus, I haven’t drawn a grasshopper mouse in a while.
