Not sure, but I liked Tezuka's "Phoenix Dawn" manga. I'd recomend that, though there's no furry in it.

You mean the flashback? Well here, I'll explain it for you.

She was geneticly engineered, and the boy's mom was one of the engineers. All the lab animals escaped one day durring an earthquake. The head scientist had ordered the others to hunt down and kill all of those animals so no one would learn what they were trying to do, and quickly before their intelligence levels would rapidly evolve from all the engineering.

Most of the animals were found and shot down square in the head. A mother lion who escaped with her cub tried hiding, and when the mother left for a moment to see if the coast was clear, she was shot. So that little lion girl who escaped was all alone.

Eventually she was found, and given to this boy Ryo as a pet by his father, and he named her Bagi. Ryo's mother (coincidentally the head scientist from before) was rarely ever around to notice, and left one day. As you can tell from the vid, she develops an unusual intelligence while residing at Ryo's. and the people around them became scared by this. Ryo didn't care and wanted to continue taking care of her, but in the end from what I can tell, she either ran away before things got serious, or his dad took her and put her back in the wild. Then it goes back to present day... the rest is in the other 2 vids though lol.... I've written enough for today.

I can see how she could could gro up like that, especially being the kitten of a geneticly engineered mother. Very lovely AMV. I would like to see the series now, its looks interesting. What is the full title of the series?

Thanks, I think the full title was Bagi: Mighty Monster of Nature... or Monster of Mighty Nature.. one of those. It was a movie though, not a series. I wish it were a series XD

First saw this, and the full movie (and I consider Anime a STYLE, and as such, to me the term doesn't specify whether it is a series or a movie) on You Tube. The movie is outstanding to because of the way Bagi's behavior is a true hybrid just like she herself. Your AMV's are quite up to the subject. (OTOH whoever did an AMV of her to "Material Girl" was smoking something, given Bagi's attitude towards CLOTHING, including the dress she made to dance in.)
