Ever since Dusk's father has been out of the picture Dawn sort of filled the male role model position in her life. Their bond been more like siblings than cousins. And there are times where Dawn becomes the resident storyteller. He uses his horn to generate a soothing glow that acts as Dusk's nightlight as he reads to her until she finally falls asleep. Though Dawn doesn't mind as he loves his cousin very much and would do anything to make her smile.
