And then as if to confirm how small and insignificant you are the person owning the shoe, totally oblivious of your very existence, wears it and continues along their day while you remain dangling by the tail from it. No doubt getting stamped under that gummy spot of the shoe and getting your back adhered to it. Further ensuring you stay under their every other step, which in turn leaves you helpless to stop the spreading of gum over your entire back and your fur most likely.

Ultimately leaving you with only two options of escape: One being that you stay there till the gum's so worn out you fall off on your own, where in you still have to deal with your entire backside covered in it. Or the shoe's wearer finally notices and pries you off, where in you'll most likely have all your back hair removed in the process. >:3

I'm sure you would put the shoe on even if you weren't oblivious of my being down there... ;)

sadSadSad little fur indeed! Back when I was in Jr. High school, Pro Keds were the "in" sneaker to wear. The toes were really wide and got a lovely dolphin-curve after wearing for a while, so it was a "trick" to put gum under the curved-up toe and step on something to trap it underfoot!

The suede ProKeds were the best for scent and feel. How I wanted to be an inch tall and play inside the sweet mucky leathery scent and slip-n-slide around the smooth padded heel, but I'd be trapped inside that way too! Can't climb out!

If only I had been trapped underfoot that way... ;)
