Simba had never seen another lion in the jungle before!
Plenty of birds, insects and even a leopard! The lion looked
friendly, so he decided to approach, after all, he may have
picked up Timon and Pumbaas scent and he wanted to tell
him not to eat them! Simba walked nearer, making sure to
walk loudly, to announce his presence. The silver maned
youngster looked around and smiled, glad he wasn't alone.
"Hi there!" Said Simba
"Hello!" Replied the lion "I'm Timril and I'm a little lost!"
"I'm Simba and don't worry, I can show you around and
help you get back on track! There's plenty to eat, why
don't you stay with me for a while? I could use the company!"
They walked and talked for hours and caught a few scrumptious bugs.
Simba had introduced Timril to the slimy yet satisfying treat!
"So, what do you do for fun around here?" Asked Timril after a small burp
Simba grinned and leapt gracefully onto a low tree branch
"I climb!" said Simba with a joyful laugh "Come on, I'll show you, it's fun!"
Climbing trees is not too natural for lions, but since Simba had been
doing it since he was a cub, he was pretty good! Timril clambered up to
join Simba, he was unsteady at first but soon got the hang of it.
