Aaand the final Secret Santa. I'M NEVER JOINING THREE AGAIN, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME.
This jackrabbit belongs to a person I've seen around, but do not personally know; K4G3. I used a different program than usual,and it was a mistake- said program, ShiPainter, is known for going defunct for no reason whatsoever and taking out about twenty random steps when you press undo. Sometimes the canvas will load with lines you never made strewn about bizarre layers, as well. I was hit with both faults, which is the reason I didn't add any sort of backdrop to this one. |:
No animation available for this one, it's unstable. The three times I tried to open the page it was on and grab the link Firefox crashed on me.
YEAH, GOIN' BACK TO USIN' PAINTBBS NOW.

Most of the people on the boards I go to use Shipainter almost exclusively, I really don't know how they put up with the errors. Then again, most of them also don't go beyond the clean sketch stage in their posts, so they probably aren't plagued by it very often. WOE IS ME AND MY LONGER TIMES, AND HIGHER CHANCES OF ERROR.
All sorts of places hold Secret Santas, including rl communities, often schools. Basically, it requires an even number of people to drop their name in either a real or proverbial hat, mix them up, and draw out another name- this if the person that you're to go get a surprise gift for. They'll often have ranges of what you can do so people don't get the short end of the stick, like $5-15 dollars, or if it's an art thing, sketches only/decent stuff only/ hard worked on pieces only. The person doesn't know who's gonna get them a gift until you present them with it, and the same thing happens to you in return.
To get into one, basically you just need to find a community who's holding one, or you can even organize one yourself between your friends. They're a lot of fun, I was just a doof and took on the challenge in three separate communities on top of having other work to do. |D;;

Thanks for the info. I'm familiar with "Secret Santa" in a general sense (I often participate in a similar program at work each year, usually for charity). I just noticed several people on my Watch List had done these random, anonymous sketch trades this year, and I thought it was something sponsored by FA. I'll have to keep my eye out next year for "Secret Santa" art trade as it sounds like it could be fun.
