I carved this for a friend of mine. Every year he commissions something from me at MFF and then completely forgets about it. Then when he sees it it's like a great little present he got for himself.I happened 4 times in a row, but this year he forgot to get off work and wasn't at MFF. His friend took a photo and texted it over. His response was just "HOLY BALLS!" I loved it. Hopefully the tradition will begin again next year.

It's really tough to price my work because simple design changes can knock off hours of work, and I've been changing both designs and prices a lot. Though I think what I was going for at MFF was good. I was doing the feather earrings for $40 for one and $75 for two, and reliefs like this would go at $100 give or take.
