Azelia got herself a lovely Kimono for the holiday season, and has posed herself with a mistletoe hanging from two of her tails forming a heart.

Yes, I guess sitting down on anthing with a backrest would become rather uncomfortable... but still, just too amazing x3
Yeah, I have recently read up on the mythology of the kitsune since I was rather confused about the whole terminology. Or should I rather say history? I guess mythology is the wrong word if I am here, talking to a real kitsune from person to person. Say, is it true that some of your kind like to pretend they are human in order to trick and seduce human males?

Some do. I'm highly comfortable with my nine tails and fluffy body, so I tend never to disguise myself. I do on occasions hide 8 of my nine tails, to attract less attention to myself, but I've made so many incredible friends due to my tails and personality, and have a wonderful husband, I don't see the need to seduce people.
That being said, I can see how that's fun, but those are also the ones scared of dogs... for some strange reason...
And yes, sometimes sitting or even walking can be a pain, especially with how fluffy my tails are, I've accidentally knocked over a few things ^^;

I do have to admire that foxy trickiness, thugh at the same time, I kind of feel sorry for those humans. Playing a year-long prank on someone, well... that might seem harmless for someone who lives hundreds of years, but for humans, that's a major part of their life-span. ... Still hilarious!
Though I guess it's not always a prank. Huh... I don't know why you'd ever prefer a human as a mate over a fox though.

Me personally, I don't see it either. My lifespan is too long for a normal person, and to fall in love with someone who's going to die WAY before you... it's heartbreaking.
I do enjoy the odd prank here and there, but love isn't something I mess with. If I've got those feral urges, I go satisfy them somewhere else, or go see the love of my life, who happens to have an abnormal life span also.

Yeah, I respect that. Love is way too much of a powerful emotion in order to play around with. At least that's what I hear. I think that prank are only really good if everyone involved can laugh about them in the end. And lifespans that very that much... huh... I guess that in and of itself is a pretty heartbreaking topic, isn't it. People always wish for long lifes, but when you think about it, I really can't say which way I'd prefer.
Long lives and short ones are only great if you make the most of every moment you're alive. There was a time, when I was younger... in a figurative manner, I was about 55 at the time, where I wish I weren't alive, where everything just crashed around me, and my life took a huge dip. A hundred years later, I still have the memory of that moment, and I can never shake it off.
To me, making the most of day to day life is how one should live, not worrying about when they'll die, but live in the moment. "Those who run from death, never truly live"

Hmm... if I would have to take a guess, that would be about the time where a kitsune realizes she is still young, while most of the people she grew up with started to see the sun of their lives moving towards sunset. Am I right?
And I absolutely have to agree with you. There is way too much to live for in order to make death a major concern while you're still alive. I know, I could probably die during one of my adventures, it's not like they aren't potentially dangerous. Maybe in a few weeks, maybe even tomorrow. So it'd be an incredible shame if I hadn't enjoyed that time until then, right? :)

Well... no. You see, I grew up in a town where Kitsunes thrived in, it was a whole Kitsune city, beautiful, and quite surreal. I did understand I would live a long time, my own mother was nearing 635 years old at the time, but that all came crashing down when an unfortunate incident happened, leaving me without my mother, and without a hometown to return to. I don't wish to speak of it now, I will tell you this over a fresh cup of tea.
And I completely agree with you. Make the most of every moment... even if said moment is being tangled and raped by tentacle plants wanting to stuff you full of seeds or eggs...
