Be careful who you choose to drive for. SOme can be quite unforgiving if you goof up. How long are you going to away from home is also a part of what they ask. A week? or a month? ANd Practice backing up. ANytiome you are not in the class room, and in the truck, practice backing. I cannot stress it enough.
I wouldn't mind driving truck myself. It's the most common thing you see on the road here. But I've never had the chance to properly learn how to drive stick. I had a 91 Toyota pickup a few years ago my mom was suppose to help me with since she drives stick. Buuuuuut, 5 minutes doesn't really help to gain talent you know?
Driving my dads old 86 International fuel truck would have been neat to learn on. Only truck he had in his small fleet that had a duel speed rear end on it. But of course he sold it to someone who knows and has the two newer trucks along with his 95 & 98 Internationals. I think the newer ones are a International and a Freight Liner.
Anyway. As for Rampage: Keep yourself determined about it. I'd like to take truck training. But I can't afford squat being NY has absolutely no jobs unless you're head's the size of the Empire State building.
Keep it up is all I tell you.
P.S. Nice looking Peterbuilt too.
