Sleep Easies are a Closed Species.



Sleep Easies are a breed of Pegasus born with the ability to create a special dust from their wings that aid in sleep.

A Sleep Easy female is slightly smaller than the male, but females are the dominant sex in their society.
They are kind hearted ponies, very sweet and easy going. Sleep Easies can be rather emotional, and have high empathy, so if others are emotional they can't help but be.
That does not mean their can't rude or even mean Sleep Easies but they are very, very rare.

They are immune to the sleep dust.

The sleep dust falls off of their wings as they fly/flap them, if a a creature were to inhale this dust, they would slowly fall into a restful sleep.
They have a tendency to accidentally inhale it themselves, causing them to occasionally sneeze it.

Sleep Easies with only the wings creating dust create it at a slower rate than ones with sleep dust tails. They will often go to ones with sleep dust tails and replenish if they begin running low.

Their job is to aid with ponies whether they have an illness, troubled minds, sleepless nights, and even small fillies/colts get a well rested sleep.

The nicest, most gentle Sleep Easies(both looks and personalities) are assigned to help with young ponies, as not to scare the little things.
The others are assigned to, well, everyone else. Carrying out their job by helping Equestria 'sleep easy.'



Visual


Coats are pale, pastel, or dull colors. Nothing bright of vibrant.

All are born to a symbol. Either a crescent moon, or a star.

The crescent moon is usually worn by men, while stars are worn by women.
It is not rare for a female to have a moon, or a male to have a star though.
In very rare occurrences they have both.
This symbol is worn on jewelry that they all wear(whether it be one necklace, or many different ways(rings, piercings, bracelettes, ect.) all over them.
It will also appear in their eyes.

Their mane/tail can be a solid color
Or a gradient between 2-3 colors.
