Whoa hey ; A ; !! It's been a while, hasn't it!
With Digimon Tri airing, I've been reminded of how much Digimon has captured my imagination. I've been slowly rewatching Digimon Adventure (the Japanese dub, specifically, since I was raised by the hilarious English one) and was pretty aggressively reminded (again!) how much I adored Gomamon. :'D
As I was clearing out dA groups that I was a part of, but no longer am due to permanent hiatuses and lack of activity from said places, I came across a forum RP of Digimon! Since I'm a lot more comfortable roleplaying on a forum than deviantART Notes (as per dA RP standard), I think it'd be a great way to toss in some OCs that have been with me for a while.
This was just as much of an OC revival as it was a way to test out something new: a fancy shmancy new tablet, that is. Even though this took me a while to finish, I find this to be oddly charming! :'0
Hopefully I can talk about these two more often and doodle them. I may just use furaffinity as a platform for tossing up application-less artwork of my stuff. :'D

Oh my gosh yes, a Gomamon pod!! * O * That's one of my favorite ideas forever?? fhfksadhf
I was inspired by Digimon games that allowed you to have more than one Digimon with you at a time for teams (most specifically Dawn/Dusk), and couldn't shake off the idea of having a Tamer who spent half of his life traveling with Digimon and being a part of their family -- and since I liked Gomamon so much, I had his partner Digimon be those. :'D That, and planning out wintery adventure attire for characters is hecka fun.
Speaking of evolution; that's something I should sit down and think about, actually!! :0 Good call, yo- thanks!

Goma pod ftw hehe. And yea, Digimon World 2, 3 and DS/Dawn/Dusk are fun games :D Not too much anime influence although Xros Wars of all things initially inspired me for my OC and his evo [a virus type gomamon that evolves into a marinedevimon].
Adventuring sounds fun~ Are they all out and about in the digital world or real world? or both? Gomamon is a great choice in general, not just for winter life [totally not biased :b]
I went all out and gave my digimon their own evolution trees LOL maybe that's a bit excessive but I figured why not. The hard part is trying to decide what form to get them drawn in when I want to commission some art [as an added bonus one of them has a gijinka/humanized form just for fun too XD]
