These two were cute enough together that there was another image that was begging to be drawn; one of them actually being all loving and affectionate. This is a continuation/followup of this image. This was yet another gift by the incredibly sweet Samael who was happy to see the wyvern couple cuddled together after the events of the previous image. Thank you again Samael!
After fully swallowing their big meal and with it securely nestled in their now hugely distended belly, Sykes cuddles up close to Zera and runs his wings over his mate's own impressively swollen tummy, feeling the movement from within as their nearly complete pups show their size and strength. Zera of course is very pleased, guiding her protective mate's wing across her heavily pregnant figure while her tail caresses Sykes' rump. Kissing each other by slithering and winding their tongues together they settle in with one another; content, proud, and satisfied, knowing they now have everything they need to bring their family to fruition.
Samael was very gracious and I am glad he liked the idea of these two together. It's a nice duality. One day it would be very interesting to see what their offspring would look like with such striking colors between the two of them. Hopefully I can make that a reality, but for now this certainly isn't the last thing you'll see of these two. However, I have a very different idea in mind for them for the next set of images so this will probably be the last thing like this for a long while.
