Tephra is a magma dragon in the service of the cruel god Core. Even in human form, his body burns hot to the touch, and steam rises from his footsteps wherever he goes, and a press of his skin to others sears their skin and leaves them branded. In order to keep himself from overheating, he keeps his den in the deep ice of the northern glaciers.

Andras, on the other hand, is a fallen angel who cut his own wings in order to Fall and follow Lucifer. Unfortunately, cutting ones wings off is a difficult task, and what remained are stubs where his wings once were. Unable to heal, they leave him in constant agony and often begin bleeding anew, lending all the more to his cruel and sharp and frigid nature.

When they find each other, they also find a mutually beneficial way to stabilize their weaknesses. Tephra's great heat soothes the pain in Andras' back for a time, and Andras' freezing body temperatures keep Tephra from overheating himself. Both serve as prophets for Core, and fill their enemies with biting and poisonous centipedes to burrow beneath their skin and alter their minds to follow their terrible God.

This pic is just Tephra in his human form, but I may do one of his dragon form some time in the near future. This was just a practice portrait round. :)

As far as relationship goes, both Tephra and Andras are asexual and aromantic, but work and sleep together as partners. They're more than comfortable with this arrangement, and they both know well where they stand with each other.
