Background:
Star grew up making a living on a fishing boat with three older brothers. As a child she had an interest in machinery and mechanics and was often found tinkering with equipment on the boat; having weak telekinetic powers only helped her in her quest for mechanical understanding. when star was 7 (or what would be considered 7 in sonic character years...) her family's boat broke down. Star went to fix it and found that there was a build up of debris that had jammed some of the gears. Without thinking she reached in and removed the blockage and when the gears began to turn again they tore her arm off. Over the next year Star used her missing limb as motivation to improve her telekinesis. She is able to use it to get inside machinery and fix it without taking it apart. (As long as the visually knows what it looks like inside, if she is not familiar what the inside looks like she cannot work on it with telekinesis). She eventually left home and joined Team Red as their mechanic and medic. She enjoys helping out her team mates, and teasing them a bit as well
