Background:

Ghost actually gets her name because of her job. She is a herder of spirits and helps them cross over to where they need to be. She is certain that she had a different name once but it’s been so long she cannot remember it now. Like most things, as time passes, you forget them and they fade away. She often gets mistaken for a ghost herself, seen galloping across fields on foggy nights herding spirits to the forests, but she is a different creature entirely. She’s been doing her job so long and has been called a ghost so much that she has adopted it as her own name. I imagine her being like a big sheepdog of spirits, finding pockets of them hiding around cemeteries, then charging them and running around them to herd them where they need to be.
