Katie.
A lot of my friends have heard of Katie, and may even have seen this drawing. It's time that all of you get to see her.

Who is Katie, really?

Katie is the benevolent leader and self-elected queen of a secret island on officially uncharted space - the "Island of Freaks". Almost nobody knows about the island - it's a closely guarded secret by the Astro Surveillance Team.

She's so very big and so very tall, that she tends to make people around her look like dwarfs - even normal, human adult males. She's almost ten feet in height in her "BAT" form. As that implies, yes - she assumes many different forms. Her true form is HUMAN, but yet, she is by no means human. No, not with all her freak abilities and her immense and overwhelming magic power - strong enough to move mountains and terraform acres of lands at a go.

The Island Of Freaks is populated with.. of course, as the name suggests, "freaks" - outcasts that have turned into monsters or weird beings in one way or form - poor things that no longer belong with the humans, and need to be cared and loved by our dearest Katie. Every freak has their own sad or weird, long story of how they came to be.

Squiggles, who I've also posted a drawing of earlier, is also a freak. Katie herself.. is the first freak of them all. The first who gave into "The Anomaly".

Katie has an exceedingly normal name compared to all the other freaks, who are often named for their most defining trait. Squiggles, for example, loves to squiggle and wiggle her tentacles to musical beats and she is very indirect with her speech. Whimpers easily gets sad, and often gets into the habit of silently weeping when she's lonely or remembers the past.. But Katie? Why is she called just.. Katie?

The truth is, she just wishes she was "normal". She just wishes that you'd treat her like a normal friend. Many people make a big people out of her and she doesn't feel that way about herself.

Katie is loving, caring and has a good sense of humour and insight, and she's quite respected by the ones she cares for. She excels in being a wild-card - in a great endeavour to understand the way people think and feel, she learns from the magical powers of others by using her unique move: "Witness & Sketch". This allows her to understand how someone has just performed a manually triggered magical ability, and to this date, she has accumulated thousands of moves. She studies magic, and has established and pinned down the most important concepts of magic in the world she lives in, where magic is widely believed not to exist at all..
