I have got a fair few requests for this character ever since I last made the forth picture so here it is for you all. This is a reference picture of Kade, my Brahminy Kite character after a quick redesign. This is for anyone who is interested in doodling the hefty avian. Still just as heavy and loves to eat more than flying, his size varies depending on the mood.

I decided to not use complete human anatomy but instead a mixture of both human and avian to create something different. It made finding out where his bulk went on his body pretty interesting. I did this picture first in H2 and HB mechanical pencils (which I will be posting in the scraps) before using a camera and importing into Photoshop7 where I inked and coloured. I am not sure if my inked works are better than my straight to pencil coloured pieces so I let you decide.

I have another, even better picture of Kade coming up. I hope you like him just as much as I had drawing him.
