you need a backstory for this picture, or a poem? She looks like she's lost someone... special, and now she can't pick herself back up, she can only pretend, to be the former her, tougher almost, it's the only way for her to seem normal, and only when she's alone, and locked herself in a room, she breaks down, and cries, never letting her feelings out to someone she can trust, because she doesn't want anybody else to get hurt by getting too close to her, not again.

Well, you pretty much made a nice addition right there. ^_^

I am... an emotional-type a person ^.^ and have so far "published" two poems online, amatuer-ish and made up on the spot as they are, everybody I show em to, like em, or thinks it's too scary

Beautiful glossy colouring.. the sadness in those eyes just captures me.

Being faster is what I've been dreaming about for a long time. I might be able to crank out more comic pages faster.

But, hey, sometimes the pic that takes a long time shows means that it'll be good unless you get really lazy.

How did you color this (shading 'n such)? Just a soft, low opacity brush. I always asked people that have a nice style of shading, how they did it.
