Problem with all versions save for the story itself, is that they give Mowgli clothing. In reality, and the original, he would not be wearing clothes. Since he would be too young to know how, and the animals wouldn't know how or be able to.
Though Disney's original version shows Bagheera trying to pull Mowgli's clothes off while Mowgli is hanging onto a tree.
