A szemei azok elsősorban amelyek teljesen megragadják a figyelmem, de maga az egész kép a testtartással, háttérrel nagyon "appealing to look at" (sajnálom, az angolom jobban be van kalibrálva mint a magyarom ma, dunno why... )

I feel that the background is sort of fitting. It gives the foreground a feel of importance and focus.
You may think it is weak but it suits this commission, I feel at least.

The glows look very nice. The particles from the arrow heads make it even better.

I am still not happy with its background XD
I worked hard with this one seriously - took me 3 days active work with minimum break (like eating and sleeping one night from the 3 day XD) - I liked the freedom I had with this work, I could make the dragon's shape the way I wanted only kept some basic stuff like 6 yes, 6 limbs, 2 toes on each limbs rule :)

The background is hard to look at... Not because its bad, but because the character is so good its the only thing you notice xD
Really, the only time a background should be ungodly awesome is when its as important as the character(s).

I do admit I am weak in BGs but from this year I try to put much more attention in my BGs because seirously must improove in them :)

For a weak background it's astonishingly beautiful - and that dragon is breathtaking! I especially like the bow, really good work, all this details amaze me. Simply put: WOUW!

From all what you have here (I mean on FA) probably this is what reminds me the most to your old art and your old character. It is very similar to one of them which I particularly like. The anatomy of this dragon is somewhat similar to that of Malaria, at least similar enough to recall her for who had seen those. The use of light, the glow of the eyes and the arrows also could bring up memories.

Nevertheless this is an awesome work; even if the background is simple, it is enough to complement the nicely detailed character, only who studied the image harder would notice it ;)

I had a period when I really loved that very thin anatomy on creatures a bit bone like right after my skeleton mania from my elementary school time =)

Backgrounds were always my weakness and I still have troubles with them - I am more a character centered artist and never compose the character(s) together with a background so usually after I am done with the main figure I always brainstorm sometimes week long what to do with the background. I am trying to change in this ^^;
